Many years in the dreaming, Popty Press is a new company lead by local graphic designer Heidi Baker. We provide a printmaking space for local artists, designers and creative people of all types, shapes and sizes.
Printmaking is a hands-on, fun thing to do whatever your age and creative experience.
For children, it involves literacy, numeracy, imagination, concentration and problem-solving – all the skills we’d like to pass on to the next generation.
For adults, it can help us flex our creative muscles (and our physical ones!) and bring us a sense of personal achievement.
For everyone, it can reduce anxiety, help improve our health and our sense of connection.

We have a riso printer, screenprinting facilities, relief press to do woodblock printing, lino and letterpress, and we’ll soon have an etching press too. Get in touch if you have a small design and print job you think we could help you with.
